MAGNETISMO
Using Rhino Grasshopper, I designed a custom pattern and texture that was later flatbed-printed onto a laser-cut acrylic panel. The piece explores the idea of making invisible interactions—like magnetic fields or energy—visually perceptible.
The visibility of the pattern depends entirely on light. When the lamp is off, the surface appears quiet and inactive, almost like a closed book waiting to be opened. When the lamp is turned on, the hidden texture emerges, revealing a layer of information that was always present but unseen.
Through this transformation, the lamp becomes more than a functional object. It acts as a mediator between the visible and invisible, inviting reflection on the subtle forces that influence how we experience space and interact with our environment
